AWOK:Primal - Female Alternate Heads

Here are the alternate heads I sculpted for the 2 main female characters in the line, Jadoo and Mala. These were super fun and kind of special in that I was given the freedom to just design them myself, without any 2D Design input like I'm typically given for sculpting work.

For Jadoo, I was given a loose description to make it a sci-fi looking helmet. She is the second in command for the antagonist of the story and a genius scientist, who designed The Void and other high-tech machinery for the Horrid. So, I thought it would be cool to give her a sinister looking skull-like mask with a re-breather(for science!) and tie the aesthetic philosophy to one similar to The Void's. I saw some people asking if it was a helmet or like literally a robot head and I can confirm it is a helmet. I actually sculpted it overtop of the existing head to make sure it would realistically fit and the eye holes would match up to wear it. It's form fitting of course, as it's made specifically for her.

For Mala, Jason just said he wanted some sort of helmet. Since Mala is the Matriarch of the Chunari, I thought it would be cool to take the existing Chunari soldier helmet and make a modified "leader-class" version of it. I did a lot of little subtle tweaks to the original helmet's design with more angular edges and shapes, then I added the face guard and horned crest. I thought it was important to also include her long hair coming out of the back of the helmet, since she's one of the only AWOK characters with long hair it's something I attribute with her character.
