Tiny Hero + Tutorial

Had a little free time and felt like painting something more stylized and kid-friendly. Here's a little dude highly inspired by Dragonball, Zelda, and The Hobbit. I haven't painted in FOREVER, so I figured why not try a new approach. Typically I'd block in the forms light and shadow right from the beginning and refine from there. But, with this one I painted it more like I would paint with acrylics, starting with a darker tone and building up in layers from there. It was actually probably slower, but I still enjoyed it. And, since no one asked for it, I made up a quick tutorial! :-P
